North West Counties National Association of Property Managers (NARPM) awarded Orca Information & Communications, LLC, as their AFFILIATE MEMBER OF THE YEAR for 2001 - 2002.  Orca was unanimously chosen for their outstanding service to the members of North West Counties NARPM Chapter.  Orca Information serves the property management industry with the "Best" in tenant and employment screening reports, evictions, and collection services.  Orca has been an affiliate member of the North West NARPM chapter since it's inception in l999. Rebekah Near, the owner of Orca serves as the Publicity Chairperson for the NW Chapter, King County Chapter and the State Chapter as well.  Ms. Near has also been active throughout the State of Washington giving classes to property managers and landlords on:  Tenant Screening, Understanding  Court Records, and Establishing A Residential Acceptance Policy.

Tom Rogers, President of NW NARPM Chapter and owner of Homes For Rent located in Oak Harbor presented Rebekah and co-owner John Near with a certificate of award.  They also received a National Vendor membership to NARPM valued at $300.00.  "The members of NARPM make this organization an outstanding one," Rebekah said.  "The members are professional, warm hearted, generous and contrary to my observation of business ethics today, they are always looking out for the other guy - that other guy is you and me - no one loses that way - everyone is a winner in NARPM.  I am extremely proud to be an affiliate member of such an organization and happy to be able to help them grow stronger in membership and service to others in this industry."
